Project Shelter

The urgent URenew project involves establishing a school shelter in Yasnogorodka, Byshiv community.

Why? The Kyiv region is consistently subjected to rocket and drone attacks. For instance, between September and November 2023, 185 air alarms were issued in the Kyiv region, many of them accompanied by explosions. This underscores the critical importance of ensuring the safety of the educational process.

However, constructing a shelter is not only about protecting children; it will provide an environment where our young people can flourish academically, emotionally and socially once again. It will begin to give our children their childhood back.

The URenew team is actively seeking generous donations to cover construction costs for the creation of a modern, comfortable, and secure shelter equipped with everything necessary for the well-being of children and teachers during an air raid.
